South Africa Adventures

South Africa Missions Trip
March 19- April 3 2014

Dear world changers,

On the second day into our travel, we were in Frankfurt Germany. During our 8 hour lay over we had the opportunity to minister to global legacy leaders. Upon arriving in Joannesburg, South Africa, we also went treasure hunting in the airport. We ended up praying for a Jewish woman, Sapphire, who’s back was healed. Her and her Jewish friend Jacob were shocked and wondered if we were doing voodoo, but we got to share that it was through Jesus the pain had left. To say the least, they were very surprised and would have invited us to eat with them on the Sabbath if we were not flying out soon.

On Saturday, we went to Knysna and partnered with the local youth group.  In the morning we treasure hunted at the waterfront. One woman who I prophesied over was touched and asked me which church I came from. I just said from the States, but upon her pressing for more info I told her Bethel church. She teared up and explained that a disturbing dream she had the week before had Bethel in it. My prophetic words for her were a peaceful interpretation of her dream. God knew we were going to be exactly there for that woman before we even left our front doors. Dan inspired me to talk with the woman in the tarot Card shop. We said some prophetic words about her loving to climb mountains we she was younger and how her parents had not fully been able to love her as much as she had needed. We also encouraged her that she knew how to love and was a good lover, and her whole continence lightened up. The locals said that she usually wouldn’t talk with anybody, but love opened up a way. Jesus bless her and fill her shop with peace and healing in the name of Jesus!

We then went into a township were I stayed with a part of the team and led a children’s meeting.  It was chaos, in the sense of order, I failed, in the sense of love and being a living jungle gym, we succeeded. We prophesied over the women there and a lady’s foot pain decreased as well as a headache was healed, which we had the little kids pray for.

That night we held a youth service at a local church. Spontaneously, without any plan to ahead of time, the team completely broke out into wild and crazy dancing. I had the opportunity to preach and lead them into encounters with the heart of Papa God for them. Amazingly, I wasn’t very nervous, I just leaned on Jesus.

Testimonies from Sunday:

One lady had a pinched nerve in her shoulder healed, and her knee pain decreased. That afternoon we went to a neighborhood with some locals. In South African culture, when the gate or door is open you walk in, even if you’re a stranger, because you are welcome. It was so strange and uncomfortable for us Americans, but it is such a beautiful openness in their culture! So while we were there we stopped at many houses to pray. On of the coolest parts of this afternoon was activating the locals in prophetic words and prayer. They all were so hopeful and happy especially Deon our taxi driver! We prayed over three adults in the first home; one was healed of a headache. Two we had do a Holy Spirit exercise and they felt peace and one felt lightness like all of the darkness had left. She said she felt something lift off when we prayed for her head. There was a woman who was dying and had lung cancer. We prayed with her and the Presence in her home so thick of God. We anointed her with oil, asked her to squeeze her hand if she felt different because she wasn’t able to speak. She squeezed her hand very rapidly and repeatedly. Then we sang a song with the neighbors and family praising God. Thank you God for seeing these people.

That evening at service we were at a mainly white, young church called Sophar. I was “M.C.” but Holy Spirit set everything up. All the messages from our team members aligned beautifully. God’s presence was there, so I had the congregation focus on Him. Then without prayer or words of knowledge, I told the people to test out their ailments. From being in the presence of God alone, a guy’s back was healed and a man with a broken foot felt his pain decrease. By the end of the night he was all the way healed. One girl I was able to pray for had dead tissue in her knee from an accident and accompanying surgeries. She could feel that 95% of the tissue disappeared after being prayed for multiple times. There was only a bit of discomfort when she walked on her knees where it had hurt badly before.

On Monday we visited a township called Blanco. I felt the joy of the Lord when a team member who had been there three years before described the transformation of that place. We handed out bread and soup. A lady we prayed for was able to breathe better and her chest pain left. A man’s stomach pain left and some of the swelling from water retention decreased under my teammates hand. Two woman’s knees improved, and we prayed for a woman with epilepsy who encountered God. Bless her! Afterwards our translator Stella was tired and was going to lay down to rest. When I asked her if she needed prayer, she said her sinuses were blocked. After prayer she said that her nose cleared up, the head pain was gone and that she had 100% energy and didn’t need to lie down. We didn’t even pray for energy, but our source of life is Jesus and His healing energizes us with life!

In the afternoon we went to Bethesda kids home, ten kids received Jesus and several were speaking in tounges after baptism of the Holy Spirit. One little girl kept talking to me and I still don’t know if it was in the local language Africaans or in tounges. Several heard Jesus speak to them for the first time. Two girls with crossed eyes were there. The younger of the two I prayed for and one eye straightened. The second one I didn’t even pray for but sent Jesus’ love in her direction, by the time we left her eyes were about 95% straighter than when we came.

In the evening we went to Life of Christ Community Church in a township. At these township churches they play music peculiarly loud to attract passer byers; it is lively and full of dance! That night I preached with a translator about how nothing is impossible with God. Everyone in the service that was prayed for was completely healed with the exception of two men. Our team was so good at loving and doing things that would offend the mind because there was no purpose to them other then to love.

Tuesday morning we went to a boy’s juvenile home were they all were waiting for their court dates. We split up into four groups; my group was about fifteen or twenty boys. Every single boy in our group felt the presence of God, and all of them smiled at one point. Eight of them received Jesus (all of the other groups saw many salvations and radical things as well). The change in them from the beginning where they wanted nothing to do with us, to the end, where they were showing off singing and dancing skills was amazing. Shelby said that those who were saved already had their thoughts changing, and that they said they were thinking more positively and full of hope. That is radical transformation of Jesus. Ben who was with another group said he met a boy claiming to be the most wicked and evil boy there. Ben asked if he could pray for him and he said yes. As the unconditional love of the father flowed through Ben, unconditional love started flowing through the boy and he put his hand on Ben’s head saying, “I need this Jesus”. There was a complete and utter shift in his identity from salvation. The next day the warden said that the most notorious boy they had there was now one of the most helpful loving boys there. To blow your mind even more, another member on our team had, had a dream with the name Elrico carved vertically into a piece of wood. This boy’s name was Elrico and he had his name carved into his leg vertically in the same fashion as in the dream. It was as if Jesus was saying his name is now carved into the cross, pre-known and always loved.

That afternoon we went to Life Community Center and about 20 kids piled onto the platform who were hurting. After the remaining kids stretched out their hands and twice said, “be healed in Jesus name,” all but a few were healed. The lady who ran the place then came and pointed out a little girl to me who had one eye completely blind because of an accident with her mother. I started praying for her without seeing much change. Without knowing I was praying for this girl, the group started singing, “Open the eyes of my heart Lord.” I was exuberant because I knew that God wanted to heal her. So I picked her up and started singing, “Open the eyes of Gracie, Lord. Open her up eyes, she wants to see you!” I had her cover her good eye and she could see my hand with her previously blind eye. After praying a bit more, I had her cover up her good eye and she could tell me with her now-not-so-blind eye how many fingers I was holding up with my hand. It was hard to tell because her English wasn’t complete, but I think that her eyesight is now the same in both her eyes. Praise the Lord!

That night we held a service in a township with Pastor Amos. Everybody we prayed for was healed. A woman who needed assistance to walk, and when she did was in excruciating pain, was healed and began to dance and kick and jump about the church on her own. Headaches and severe pains were gone in Jesus name! Thank you God!

Wednesday morning we went to Blanco Township to hand out food again. Two of my team members prayed for a man with a blind eye and a missing eye. He didn’t want to live or have Jesus. After prayer he could see with his remaining eye, accepted Jesus, and was excited about living! We prayed for a woman whose eyesight cleared up and the pain in her legs decreased. Also, a man’s leg grew out and his pain left.

The next portion of our trip we flew to Jo’berg and drove to a more remote town called Klerksdorp with a nearby township called Stilfontein. We stayed with the absolutely inspiring, beautiful ministry of Spirit Word. The only place I’ve seen that emphases the importance of Holy Spirit leading us AND the word of God radically. The love of the word of God jumped unto our team while we were there!

On Friday we went into the township and did a kids service as well as prayed for folks in the hospital. With a local I went to the pregnancy ward were we prayed for pregnant women. At first they mocked us, but by the end they all wanted prayer. Jesus gave me encouraging words for them as well as for one of the workers. She pulled me aside and asked if we were prophets. I got to explain to her that since she knew Jesus she has the same Holy Spirit inside of her. I told her some ways to hear God and had her hold out her hands to feel Holy Spirit. She was super excited, hungry, and encouraged.

That night we went into the township and invited people to come to our open-air meeting. (Crusade style!) We prayed for people and all we had to say was “be healed in Jesus name” and they would miraculously be healed. One woman’s stomach pain left (she had been constantly throwing up after eating), and an elderly woman’s shoulder and knee pain left. She and her daughter were surprised and grateful and lovely. A man who couldn’t walk was able to walk around his house assisted, another woman had tingly sensations in her ankles and more mobility/feeling come back. At the meeting lots of people found Jesus Christ, maybe between forty and sixty. Just by saying, “Be healed in Jesus name” back pain left, headaches left, shallow breathing left from two men; five or so of those healings I witnessed were for gang members. I had the first one who was healed of shallow breathing pray for his friend who also was healed. Another gang member’s rib pain left. They all came to the front and danced at the end. They came to the meeting because they found Jesus in an encounter with another team member Matt Wood. One man came up to me at the meeting whose breath reeked of alcohol. He asked what the meeting was and when he found out it was for Jesus he said he needed to repent. After praying to rededicate his life to God he was still worried because he had known Jesus and still gone back to drinking previously. I got to explain that it is by Holy Spirit’s amazing transformation in us that our natures change. It wasn’t until I prophesied that I saw a pure man in him that I saw his demeanor change and his expression clear up though. I was so full of joy for the encounter of our God and that man. He didn’t just randomly walk up to that meeting. God intended every individual person who was there to be there. It was crazy. The meeting went past dark; maybe 150-200 people were there. There was a little boy at this meeting who wasn’t able to talk because of a stutter. After Jesus healed him he spoke into the microphone, and the whole community erupted because they knew him and that Jesus had made him complete. The deaf heard. Many were healed.

On Sunday we went to the hospital again. A couple headaches left. We also blessed pregnant woman; one’s eyesight improved. In another ward one woman’s arm was cut and infected. The pain left and the swelling decreased after prayer.

At service that night, Annalise gave me a prophetic word and I encountered the crazy goodness of God and had the longest laugh-cry of my life. I am just so in love with Jesus and amazed that he would die for me. It is the most ridiculous thing, but He died for me and He loves me! I came to South Africa to become love, but from this encounter He told me that doesn’t matter, I just need to know that I am loved. I don’t fully know Him, but the spirit in me knows and recognizes Him enough to know He’s so full of goodness and love!

Being at Spirit Word also helped me find the reality that earth is enveloped in heaven. God is not looking down on us He is gazing face to face with us. Every miracle is a manifestation of the alignment of earth with heaven. God is literally breathing in me (not into me, in me). His presence naturally flows from me and that as I walk on this earth people are encountering heaven and Jesus.

God is among us, the kingdom of earth and heaven have come clashing into one existence, one triumphal procession of one great, terribly beautiful song. Christ is the head and I am the body of an unfathomably beautiful bride of Christ. Why? Because it is a gift of grace and nonsensical, melodious love.

Thank you so much for all of your support. These testimonies are not even all of my personal experiences let alone anybody else’ on the team. Many more miracles, signs, and wonders happened on the trip. Some teams were able to do massive school meetings with crazy amounts of people being saved in twenty minutes, and people falling out under the presence of God. Another team was able to partner with local police forces and minister to them. One of our team members experienced bilocation and a little girl saw him singing a song he sang at our meeting the night before he was actually there in person. Which was I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart.  Hundreds were healed and saved into the glorious salvation of Jesus Christ.

I thank God for all of His beautiful and crazy and passionate love displayed on this trip. We are nobody special, only Christ is. Christ is in us, is in you. Go forth and do even greater works in your hometowns then we did in South Africa. Love you all so much.

A returned and triumphant daughter,
Sarah Moore

Quick testimony from this last week. I was on the ministry team for Sunday service and a man from the love after marriage came up for healing. He had back pain and, as is customary to the Bethel culture, I had him sit down to see if his legs were the same length. One was slightly shorter by a centimeter. I had the first year who was with me command the leg to grow out and it came about half a centimeter closer. By now we had a family watching. There was a little girl among them and I had her tell the leg to grow and to bop his toes. At this the leg grew that tiny little fraction longer and they were equal!! Also, the man’s left arm was about half an inch shorter than his right. After quick prayer it came and joined it’s fellow arm at the same length! Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice and victory!

Just my thoughts for you friends…

I’ve heard a saying that you have to walk past the dogs of doom to go through the doors of destiny. Our greatest gifts to the world actually come from the areas in life were we have gone through our toughest issues (granted you’ve overcome them). Any time we fight through insecurity, abandonment, or poverty mindset into a mindset of royalty and acceptance, we’ve earned authority to help other people through the same issues.  Don’t be afraid of where you’ve come from and what God’s taken you through. It would be a discredit to God to be ashamed of your history, and the world needs to know the beauty that you bring and have fought for. No matter what you are bright, you are beautiful, and your future is full of life and love because God chose you!

You have been made royalty because God’s son died that your separation was taken away. He gave us His spirit so that we could be reborn and made sons and daughters of God. You have the most beautiful Daddy in heaven!

Ps. I am going on a trip to South Africa with a missions team. Last year they literally saw BLIND EYES OPENED and crazy miracles, but most importantly brought love to the country! Bethel’s outreach leaders have a lasting impact and are building relationship with church networks there. If you want to support me I would be so blessed and you would be investing in a nation, in the kingdom of God, and in yourself! It is a tax deductible cause! Thanks loves! Just type in my name Sarah Moore for the traveler!

Scotland

Hello dear ones, here is a Scotland ministry trip recap!

The first day there was a meeting of global legacy leaders in the area. They are the pioneers that advance the kingdom of God, change mindsets, and bring freedom everyday and I was so blessed to see them all in one passionate meeting!

We also did street outreach with the local school of supernatural students. It was amazing because they had just as much courage and love as I if not more! Simon, a student, asked one man we talked to if he had pain in his jaw. He replied that he had and so we prayed for him. It turns out two other groups approached him and asked the exact same question about his jaw. His response those two times were, “I don’t need prayer, God has already healed me!”

At the conference a woman regained her vision, another’s ear popped open after it had been deaf, arthritis left knees, backs were healed, asthma left and more that I wasn’t able to remember or wasn’t told of! Thank you God for your goodness! One girl that I prayed for had severe eczema and we watched her hand receive new skin before our very eyes. It was only healed about 50% percent but I am believing with her for the rest of her healing!

Before each session Ahab and Joaquin (the other trip leader) would have us come to the front and prophesy over people. I was so blessed with positive feedback and honor from these people. One of the ladies I prophesied over told me that she had almost given up on mentoring this group of people that she had been connected to for four years. After hearing the word I gave her (about discipleship) she said she had the courage to keep mentoring them. One guy found me at the end of the conference and told me I had inspired his faith. Another man ran by and dropped five pounds (monetary pounds ;) into my hands. One woman told me it had been worth it for our team to be there because she had, had brain trauma for 43 years. Over the past couple of years she had been gradually healed by God and at this point she was completely healed.

The people there are hungry for God, not just for His manifestations, but for His face. It is a culture of excellence, freedom, and love. People were so ready to receive, all you would have to do is lay a hand on someone and they would be trembling with the power of the Holy Spirit. They had such excellent in worship, giving it all and concentrated on Jesus!  I learned that while leading people they pull on what you have so you also stay hungry. I learned when you impart something it is imparted in a greater measure then you ever had. I learned tongues is an excellent way to stay connected heart to heart with God in the moment. I learned that I was made to help the church see the glory of God. I learned that leadership looks like good stewardship and humility, that fear is a choice and so is trust. I learned freedom comes from change of expectation and to choose to worship is to choose the Presence of God. I learned the value of the community of leaders together.

Guys, if ever you feel unsure today stop and ask God, "Do you love me?" and "Am I your daughter (or son)?" and He will surely fill you with the confidence to walk the day out in love! And tell your heart to receive it when He loves on you! We have a good and joyful Daddy! xxx

Some testimonies from one day of the healing rooms during first year BSSM :)

There was this beautiful Latino woman in her forties standing in front of me. Her eyes were shut with a few tears dribbling down her otherwise stoic face.  Half a minute ago she had told us her back was at the pain level of a four (from 1 to 10). After declaring Jesus' name and healing over her we asked how she felt. I had not expected her to feel any different because her demeanor had not changed. But softly she said, "All of the pain is gone." As she stood quietly thanking God, the rest of us laughed in surprise and danced around her.

One man was sitting on a chair when we came by. When we asked why he was there, he said he had brain damage. After praying and crowning him from heaven, he literally felt his brain growing and his thoughts become clearer. It is easier for him to focus now too. Jesus is so good!! Healing and regrowing brains is His joy and good pleasure/will!

There was also a guy who came in for allergies. When I touched the bridge of his nose with my pointer and middle finger he kept scrunching it up and making a funny face. After praying we asked what was happening to him. He said that he felt pin pricks and heat in his nose. Jesus spoke to me through my thoughts and so I asked him out loud if he was having trouble sleeping. He said yes, so we got to bless his sleep, although I don't know how he sleeps now since I haven't talked to him since.

Thank you Jesus!!

AHHH second year starts tomorrow!!!!

San Fran + poetic moment

Thank you. Thanks. I was your hands, you lent me your face, and my hands stained red.

Knowing you is beyond joy. Being aware of your presence is enough to last a lifetime. But ministering with you, and showing people your love? More than my heart can handle. My soul trembles with delight and fear of you as I gaze at the works of your hands staining my hands red. Staining my hands red. My hands are forever stained red. I am marked. I am not trivial. I am not wavering.  I will walk the travail. Because life not pursuing Jesus is the greatest burden you could ever place on me. I will walk, I will plague the highest heights and lowest depths breathing it in until there is nothing more to breathe. And when I can’t breathe any more I will burst, and bring light to dark places that are hungry, eating away and gnawing at their stomachs till they are compacting space and time. But when the light hits it magnifies, it manifests, it jumps to cover the space and time because it is all touching the same heart, the same root, the need to know, the hunger to breathe, the all important reason and purpose of pursuing life, Jesus.

Thank you. Thanks. I was your hands, you lent me your face, and my hands stained red.

Okay so two San Francisco testimonies. First story is mine second is a team members- I think both are pretty wicked awesome. :) (I should share some healing room testimonies...they're amazing and too numerous to keep up with, excellent problem to have!)

Story 1:
Some of my new made street friends pulled me over to a lady who was in a barred off area because they wanted to introduce me to their friend Stewy. I asked if I should bring a cup of hot chocolate for him (since we were out serving hot chocolate) and they introduced me to what turned out to be a doll haha.

The lady who had the doll lives on the streets and just received a bag of clothing from her employers. She wanted to give me clothes. I was like dang, a homeless woman is trying to give me clothes right now. :) I told her I didn't have a need but that I could find someone to take them from me. She did insist though that I should keep them. I asked her if she was an artist and she said yeah how did you know, and started singing and rapping about the pain and victory of the streets.

When I had to leave I gave her a hug and she gave me a kiss on the cheek. She told me I love you, and I looked into her eyes and said I love you too.

I took the backpack of clothing back to my group. God highlighted a woman who I should give it to (who was quite intimidating) and so I sucked up my nerve and went. She received it and opened up to talking with me. She said some profound things too. I left her to give out hot chocolate and my team members told me she wouldn't talk to them before and would not accept any thing to drink. So I took some chocolate to her and she accepted it as well as her friend. God completely used one homeless woman to help me love another.

Story 2:
Another time we were at the dock singing and praising God. One of the team members, Nicole had pain in her foot. A woman walked up to stand by her and the pain left. When the woman moved away from the group the pain returned to Nicole's foot. So she went over and asked if the lady had pain in her foot. She said yes that she had some fractured toes and that when she had walked up to our group the pain had left and when she walked away the pain returned. Our worship to Jesus had set the atmosphere that when she entered our area her foot was healed!! Since the pain had returned after she moved away Nicole prayed for her foot and it was completely healed! :) wow. Jesus haha I love Him, He's the one who made the victory available!

Meeting Jesus is ecstasy.

This week we attended Randy Clark's School of Healing. I heard last night alone there were over 200 miracles. WWWHEEW! There are healings of all kinds all over the place. :)

A fun testimony was when Bill Johnson called out for everyone with missing cartilage in their knees to stand up. He had us pray for them and declare into being what was not (essentially asking God to create new cartilage). When he told them to test the condition of their knees the isles were filled with people jumping and running back and forth! Many of these people either had their cartilage grow back or their knees started functioning supernaturally without out it! Haha crazy!

Also, he called for people with head trauma to stand up for prayer. When they did he had us perform a prophetic act, placing our hands on their heads and lifting up as if we were releasing their heads from metal bands. Loads of breakthrough and healing!  In particular, one woman was told her forehead had started to sweat, but when she put her hand up she discovered she had anointing oil on her forehead. My friend, Naomi, asked the woman to pray for her and she came back smelling sweet from the oil because it was on the woman's hands as well and she had touched Naomi's forehead.

Between Randy, Chris Gore, and Bill, they have seen people healed of Parkinson's, Dyslexia, Down's Syndrome (the children have been moved into the normal school system and for some their features have begun to change), and many other brain diseases (as well as cancers)! Jesus is so good!

Jesus is perfect theology, and he healed everyone that came to Him. I don't understand why people are not always healed when we pray, but it means we should press in deeper! As Randy said, everyone will fail at some point, but the difference between someone who did something great and revival is when you get back up and keep going at it. Press into God, and NEVER GIVE UP!!

Sorry it's been so long! So many amazing things have happened!

I went to the Power and Love conference in Oregon and heard Todd White, Bob Hazlett, Tom Ruotolo and Dan Mohler speak. The main goal was to activate us to love people supernaturally and daily. Also, the burning message from the heart of Todd White, who has amazing dreads, was that the Church has gained victory through Christ. He asked if our lives actually are living that victory out or if we are sitting licking wounds that have been healed.

So, not only was I convicted that I needed to be totally convinced of my abundant life in Christ and not be hurt by people but for people, but I was activated in words of knowledge. Seriously. It was crazy. Here are a few examples.

When we were at lunch our waitress was really sweet and I wanted to love on her. God gave me a word that she was a dancer. She came back with water and I asked, "Excuse me are you a dancer?"

And she said, "Yes, in fact I am going to go to school for it, and I'd like to do choreography!"

I said "Cool well God highlighted..." and as soon as I said God she jumped back and started laughing. I told her the rest of the word and she said I had freaked her out but in a good way. She kept laughing and told us we had made her day.

Later that night I got a word that a girl I met was worried about a sister back home, that God was going to restore to her what was lost, and that He was going to separate her from the world and put His word back in her heart. She said that she was worried about her sister, that she had been raped when she was little, and that currently she was only 14 (she lives in Switzerland), but that she had fallen into a drinking and partying culture. Amen let it be done what you have said in this word Jesus!

The next night when we went out we were at Thunderbird a gorcery store. I saw a women walking away and the flash of red in her hood told me I needed to talk to her. I caught her attention gave her a prophetic word about being royalty, and asked her if she needed prayer. She said no, but then I inquired if she had pain in her knees. With a shocked yes we got to pray for her and the pain in her knees went away!

We ran into another group from the conference and prayed for a friend of one of the girls who had just been in a coma. When we were done I asked the girl if she had, had a lot of shin splints in the past and lots of growing pains in her shins. She said yes. Not knowing why God had highlighted that I prayed they'd be strenghtened. Later that night her sister came over and said she wanted to encourage me that I heard from the Holy Spirit because she had shin splints. I laughed and asked if I could pray for her shins. She was healed! No pain whoot! Thank you Jesus!

When we were walking in to the conference a whole bunch of us got to pray for a man with a lazy eye. We all jumped around him and praised Jesus and it was healed partially and I believe soon to be fully!!

Haha God is so good, I am so grateful for all the words of knowledge and prophetic words He gave me to love His people!!!!! God you are amazing! I love you Jesus!!! And all this love was so natural. I encourage you to go out and if you have a strange thought like, that person has pain in their wrist, then ask them and pray! God will show up I promise!

Love you all! Jesus you da best. :D
